IAP vaccine timetable: BCG, OPV, and the first hepatitis B dose.

At the checkup: Ask about feeding, weight, and jaundice.

Selected stages from the IAP–ACVIP 2025 timetable (published 2026; source checked November 2026). The child's vaccination record and clinician's advice take priority.

02 / SYMPTOM GUIDE

When to seek care

Recognise some signs that call for prompt in-person assessment.

FEVER

Seek prompt medical assessment

A baby younger than 3 months with fever, or any child who is unusually drowsy, difficult to wake, or unable to drink, needs prompt in-person care.

Based on IAP parent guidance on fever and fever with cough, plus WHO child danger signs (sources checked November 2026). If you are worried, seek care; do not wait for a website result.
